The preparation technol. of safflower injections was studied. With hydroxysafflor yellow A, kaempferol and adenosine as the standards, the contents of the components in safflower injections with different preparation process were determined by HPLC, and the contents were also determined with freeze-drying process instead of the high temperature treatment. The contents of hydroxysafflor yellow A and kaempferol were decreased in the process of water extraction and alc. deposition of water deposition, and those were significantly decreased by high temperature process compared with those by freeze-drying, while the high temperature and freeze-drying processes showed no influence on the content of adenosine. The preparation technol. of safflower injections is unreasonable, and the active ingredients with heat sensitivity can be preserved by freeze-drying.
