The efficacy of disinfectants to be used in manufacturing environment of medical industry against selected microorganisms on representative surface was evaluated and demonstrated.Efficacy of the disinfectants on representative surface would be evaluated by measuring the mean surviving populations of test microorganisms after exposed to test disinfectants on the surface of a coupon representing a surface present in the manufacturing environment of medical industry.70% Iso-Pr alc. could work against bacteria, 1:32 Spore-klenz could work against bacteria and mold.The effectiveness of disinfectants to different coupons and microorganisms can be not the same.We should choose the proper disinfectants in the manufacturing environments of medical industry.

This paper is to study the effect of pH on stability of brimonidine tartrate eye drops and to determine the optimal range of pH and storage conditions of the eye drops.HPLC method was used for the determination of the contents of brimonidine tartrate and related substance in eye drops.The stability of the preparation at high temperature and intense light illumination was studied.Brimonidine tartrate eye drops were sensitive to high temperature and strong illumination.The stability of the preparation reduced with the increase of pH.The optimum pH of the preparation was partial to acidity, and the optimum storage condition was low temperature and away from light.

Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of atropine sulfate and related substances in Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops.Methods A C₁₈ column was used and the mobile phase was phosphate buffer-methanol (85:15).The detection wavelength was 206 nm.Results A linear plot of peak area vs. concentration of atropine sulfate was obtained in the range of 25.98∼519.5 μg·mL^-1 (r = 0.99999).The limit of detection was 8.25 ng.The average recovery was 99.71% with RSD of 0.30%.Conclusion With good accuracy and precision, this method can be used for the determination of atropine sulfate and related substances in Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops.
