This paper aims to establish a method for the determination of phillyrin in Chailian oral liquidODS-C₁₈ (4.6 mm × 150 mm, 5 μm) was used and the mobile phase was acetonitrile-water (24:26).The mean recovery was 99.62% and RSD was 0.40% (n = 9).This method was proved to be simple and accurate with a good reproducibility.

To establish an HPLC method for determination of the content of potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate injection.Diamonsil C₁₈ high performance liquid chromatog. column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) produced by Dikma technologies was used.The mobile phase consisted of a mixture of 0.05% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution (adjust pH value 2.5 ± 0.2 with phosphoric acid)-methanol (6:13), and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 251 nm.Dehydroandrographolide succinate and its related substances could be effectively separatedDehydroandrographolide succinate curve was well correlated (r = 0.999994) within the range of 37.249-372.486 μg/mL.The instrument precision RSD was 0.03%, and the method precision RSD was 0.40%.The methods appeared to be simple, accurate and reproducible.It can be used to control the quality of potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate injection.

Orthogonal test was used to select the best process of extraction baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis, and volume of water, and time and frequency of decoction were examinedThe results showed that Scutellaria baicalensis needed to be extract three times with four to six times water.The best way of extraction was that two hours firstly, and one hour for twice.The process has the advantages of being simple, low cost, high recovery ratio and being easy to scale up.
