A high-performance liquid chromatog. (HPLC) method for the determination of related substances in Cefuroxime Axetil capsules was established.The HPLC conditions were as follows: C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm), the mobile phase of 0.2 mol/L ammonium dihydrogen phosphate-methanol (62:38), and detection wavelength at 278 nm.The detection method had a good specificity and durability.Cefuroxime had a good linearity in the concentration of 0.7545 μg/mL to 15.09 μg/mL.The method was simple, rapid and suitable for the quality control of Cefuroxime Axetil capsules.
