Objective: To analyze the effect of ursodeoxycholic acid on the levels of SCG, SCBA and sVCAM-1 in patients with ICP. Methods: 60 patients with ICP were numbered according to the order of seeing a doctor, and the odd number was taken into the control group, and the even number was taken into the observation group, 30 cases in each group. All the patients were treated with conventional therapy and dexamethasone therapy, and the observation group was treated with ursodeoxycholic acid for 2 wk. The levels of SCG, SCBA and sVCAM-1, TBA, ALT and AST were measured before and after treatment and compared between the two groups after treatment, the clin. effects of the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results: SCG, SCBA and sVCAM-1, in both groups decreased after 2 wk treatment, and the levels of SCG, SCBA and sVCAM-1, in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After 2 wk of treatment, the levels of TBA, ALT and AST in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of TBA, ALT and AST in observation group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Ursodeoxycholic acid is more effective in improving the liver function and endothelial function of patients with intrahepatic cholestasis syndrome during pregnancy.
