Chosen Foods Asserts Its Commitment to Purity Amid New Research from UC Davis Exposing Adulteration in Avocado Oil Industry

The new research from UC Davis, published in Food Control, revealed that nearly 70% of store brand (also known as private label) avocado oil is rancid or mixed with other oils. The adulteration issue in this category was first reported by UC Davis in a 2020 study that tested 22 brands of avocado oil and found only two that were 100% pure – Chosen Foods being one of them.
