With the development of society and the progress of science, the problem of energy consumption is becoming more and more serious.At this time, it is particularly important to develop new energy.Meanwhile, how do we store energy in the process of developing energy, that's going to use supercapacitors.Supercapacitors are the best choice for energy storage because of their durability, low cost, environmental friendliness, rapid charge and discharge, high power d. and other excellent features.In order to improve the energy storage performance of supercapacitors, the development of new electrode materials has become the primary goal of research.In this paper, feather was used as exptl. material and potassium ferrate was used as exptl. drug to prepare new hierarchical porous carbon materials.Through a series of exptl. steps, we obtained three groups of electrode materials with different mass ratios.Through a series of characterization and electrochem. tests, we found that the prepared samples have excellent electrochem. properties.The sp. surface area of the optimal sample is up to 916.6 m2·g-1, and the specific capacitance of the sample can reach 310 F·g-1 under the charge and discharge conditions of the electrochem. test 1 A·g-1.Meanwhile, it has high total pore volume (0.53 cm3·g-1), high oxygen enrichment (15.9%) and high nitrogen enrichment (6.8%).According to the results, the hierarchical porous carbon prepared with feather as the raw material can be used as the electrode material of supercapacitor.
