Oncopeptides says Swedish authorities ended probe into CSO Jakob Lindberg over alleged insider information sharing

Almost three months after Swedish authorities first arrested Oncopeptides chief scientific officer Jakob Lindberg, they’ve closed their investigation, the biotech says.

Lindberg, who formerly served as CEO of Oncopeptides, came under investigation for allegedly passing insider information to an individual outside the company in October 2021.

But according to a press release from OncopeptidesOncopeptides, the Swedish Economic Crime Authority has now decided “there is no longer a reason to complete the preliminary investigation as ‘the investigative material available [does not] prove that the person or persons who were suspected have committed any crime.’”
