Lunit to offer AI-powered medical imaging solutions to Singapore’s Healthcare System

(Credit: PRNewswire/ Lunit) South Korea-based AI cancer diagnostics provider Lunit has teamed up with NTT DATA Singapore to offer its INSIGHT CXR system to Singapore’s public healthcare system. Under the terms of the agreement, Lunit collaborated with CARPL, an end-to-end AI medical imaging platform, to provide NTT DATA with Lunit INSIGHT CXR. NTT DATA allowed the software delivery to Singapore’s national health-tech agency Synapxe. The strategic collaboration aims to integrate Lunit’s software solution into the clinical radiology workflow of Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and Changi General Hospital (CGH). Both SGH and CGH are public hospitals with more than 1,000 beds and are members of SingHealth, Singapore’s largest group of public healthcare institutions. With the Lunit INSIGHT CXR offering in the chest X-ray workflow, both hospitals aim to enhance chest screening while providing advanced medical services with enhanced accuracy. Also, the project aims to enhance medical professionals’ diagnostic capabilities, said Lunit. Healthcare institutions that have adopted Lunit’s AI solution through the AimSG project showed a positive response and are looking to improve the medical imaging workflow.
