In the sludge drying project, a large amount of odor and volatile organic compounds will be generated during the receiving, drying, and transportation of sludge. This article takes the sludge drying project of a municipal sewage treatment plant in Shanghai as an example. According to the characteristics of the distribution of pollution sources, the level of odor concentration, and the amount of odor in the sludge drying workshop, in accordance with the principles of classified collection, quality treatment, and multi-condition operation, combined waste gas purification(deodorization) technol. is used to treat different types of odor pollutants. Through actual operation data detection and anal., its effect fully meets the requirements of local standards in Shanghai, which has a useful reference significance for the treatment of odors in similar sludge drying systems.
