Comparative, Randomized, Open, Crossover Clinical Trial to Investigate Adhesiveness of a Newly Developed Rotigotine-containing Transdermal Patch in Patients With Parkinson's Disease
The investigational medicinal product (IMP) to be tested in the clinical trial (Rotigotine (ROT)-Transdermal System (TDS) (8 mg/24 h)), which is subject to this submission, was designed as a generic of Neupro® 8 mg/24 h, which is marketed in the European Union since 2006 (date of first authorisation is 2006, date of renewal of the authorisation is 2016) and serves as Reference product.
It is the intention of this clinical trial to assess patch adhesion properties of the newly developed rotigotine patch and the marketed Reference product Neupro® 8 mg/24 h after multiple patch applications.
Characterisation of Relative Bioavailability of GLA-015 in Comparison With an Oily Cannabidiol Solution (NRF 22.10) - a Multiple Dose, Randomised, 2-period Crossover-trial With Twice Daily Administration in Healthy Adult Male and Female Subjects
Glatt Pharmaceutical Services GmbH & Co. KG is developing a new CBD granules formulation (GLA-015 / Cannabidiol 1500 mg 29,7% w/w GRA BLD P) which is intended to be used in the treatment of the new Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Due to its enhanced solubility the new product is expected to show increased bioavailability, reduced variability especially in the fasted state and better robustness towards food interaction compared to oil-based cannabidiol solutions.
The aim of the present clinical trial is the characterisation of maximum systemic exposure of CBD and its active metabolite 7-OH-CBD of the newly developed Test product in the estimated target effective dose for treatment of COVID-19 as well as the comparison of its systemic bioavailability to CBD administered as oily solution.
Comparison of maximum systemic exposure of Test vs. Reference will be performed under steady state conditions with twice daily intake after a light meal over 7 consecutive days.
Characterisation of Relative Bioavailability of a Newly Developed S-flurbiprofen Containing Patch Formulation in Comparison With a Marketed Oral Flurbiprofen Containing Tablet Formulation - a Multiple Dose, Randomised, 2-period Crossover...
Teikoku Seiyaku Co., Ltd. (Japan) is developing a new Esflurbiprofen Hydrogel Patch (EFHP), a transdermal product containing 165 mg of the S-enantiomer of flurbiprofen (S-flurbiprofen) as its active pharmaceutical ingredient.
The present clinical trial will be conducted to characterise maximum observed systemic exposure of the newly developed EFHP (Test) vs. "Froben 100 mg" (Reference, containing 100 mg racemic flurbiprofen in a 1:1 ratio). Characterisation will be performed under steady state conditions in order to bridge the available safety information on the basis of the comparison of maximum observed systemic exposure by means of AUC0-24h,ss,P vs. AUC0-24,ss,T and Cmax,ss,P vs. Cmax,ss,T of S-flurbiprofen.
