HPLC for detection of hydrochlorothiazide content in Zhenju antihypertensive tablets was established.The HPLC separation was carried out on a Kromasil ODS1 C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), using acetonitrile-0.1% phosphorous acid (11:89) as mobile phase, detection wavelength 225 nm and flow rate 1.0 mL/min-1.The linear range for hydrochlorothiazide was 1.0-10.0 μg/mL-1.The regression equation was Y = 1.0119X -0.0299 (r = 1.000, n = 6).The mean recovery rate was 98.8%, with RSD 1.0% (n = 9).This method is simple, sensitive, and accurate, which is available for the quality control of Zhenju antihypertensive tablets.
