Aiming at the characteristics of high concentration of organic matter, high chroma and high salinity in the production wastewater of cyanamide, a treatment process with resin adsorption as the core was adopted. The exptl. results show that: under the conditions of initial wastewater pH value of 2.5, adsorption temperature of 25°C, and flow rate of 1 BV/h, the COD value of wastewater was reduced from 45000 mg/L to 25200 mg/L, and the removal rate was about 44.08%. 3 BV methanol was used as the desorbent, and the resulting desorbed liquid was distilled to recover methanol as the next batch of desorbent. Distillation residues were returned to the production section, and resources could be effectively reused. The resin adsorbed the effluent water into the evaporation system, recovered the inorganic salts, and the distilled effluent entered the biochem. system through the adjustment tank.
