Objective To develop a tester for the gastric lavage device to eliminate its shortcoming in detecting the lavage fluid and pressure.Methods The test consisted of two detection units resp. for fluid into and out of the stomach, a touch LCD, a main processor control unit and a power adapter.With STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller as the core, it used pos. and neg. pressure sensor XGZP6857100 KPGPN detect the inlet and outlet pressures, LSZ ultrasonic flow sensor to measure the inlet and outlet flow and liquid volume, IST-TH11 S-B temperature and humidity sensor to test the temperature and humidity, and the detected signals were processed and displayed on the touch LCD.Results The tester could measure the flushing/suction pressure, the inflow/outflow flow, the total inflow/outflow volume, the inflow/outflow time, the frequency of gastric lavage as well as the temperature and humidity quickly and accurately, which avoided the disadvantages of recalcn. of the measurement parameters and enhanced the measurement efficiency and accuracy.Conclusion The tester realizes rapid detection of the gastric lavage machine and thus enhances its clin. safety and efficacy which facilitates the hospital management of the gastric lavage device.
