A method was established for the determination of paracetamol in Ganmaoling granules.HPLC method was set up, using Shimadzu C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm).The mobile phase was methanol-water-acetic acid (20:80:0.5); the UV detection wavelength was 244 nm, with the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min-1.There was a good linearity between the concentration and absorption area within 50200 μg/mL-1 for paracetamol, (r = 0.9999).The average recovery was 98.9%, and RSD = 0.79% (n = 6).The method is rapid, and accurate with good reproducibility for the determination of paracetamol in Ganmaoling granules.
