NEWS RELEASE: Beacon MedTech Solutions Appoints New President Industry Veteran Jim Colony Joins to Drive Strategic Growth Across High-Technology Markets LEOMINSTER, Mass. (December 19, 2023) – Beacon MedTech Solutions is pleased to announce that James “Jim” Colony will serve as the company’s president, effective immediately. Bringing a track record of success in strategic planning and manufacturing management, Colony will be responsible for driving strategic growth, continued excellence in engineering and quality, and strengthened customer relationships across Medical, Life Sciences, Bio-Pharma, Aerospace, Defense and Technology markets. Colony initially joined Beacon MedTech Solutions in an interim capacity in March 2023, becoming president in August following confirmation by Beacon Manufacturing Group’s Board of Directors. He is a veteran executive with more than 30 years of C-suite experience in operations and strategy, leading new product introductions and developing high-performing teams. Colony previously held leadership roles at international manufacturers Anderson Power and Hughes Aircraft. His background in Aerospace, Medical and Plastics manufacturing will help facilitate the company’s continued growth and support of customers across technology-driven industries. “I wanted to pursue a role as Beacon MedTech’s president because I truly believe in the company’s value proposition of vertical integration and broad materials expertise and the benefits it brings to customers in critical markets,” Colony said. “I’m excited to be part of an organization with a committed and passionate management team that brings deep experience in quality, regulatory and compliance. He will guide the organization in leveraging thermoplastics, liquid silicone rubber and thermoset materials expertise for increasingly complex customer requirements.
