SafeHeal Appoints Medical Device Industry Veteran Chris Richardson as Chief Executive Officer

Richardson has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, and an extensive record of successfully taking medtech companies from startup to commercialization to acquisition. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Keystone Heart, a structural heart medical device company, and creator of the first Cerebral Embolic Protection device designed to provide complete coverage to all brain regions for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Keystone Heart was acquired in 2018 by Venus Medtech, the leader in transcatheter structural heart valvular therapies in China. Before that, Richardson was International President and Chief Commercial Officer of Direct Flow Medical, a transcatheter aortic valve company, and General Manager of Evalve (MitraClip), which was acquired by Abbott Vascular. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Neurolief, creator of a digital therapeutics platform based on a clinically-validated neuromodulation technology to treat chronic neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders such as migraine and depression.
